Virtual - October 23rd, 2021 from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM EST
Welcome to the 3rd Annual KSU Mobile Learning Summit. This year’s Mobile Learning Summit will be held completely virtually! There is no need to leave the comfort of your home. Our first summit hosted seven presenters who provided a jam-packed day of content creation on mobile devices. Last year, the second annual summit was held virtually, we doubled the number of presenters, and cut the registration fee in half. The feedback for the virtual summit was positive, so we are continuing this trend for the third annual summit. We look forward to a fun-filled day of learning this year. Spread the word to your colleagues and districts, because this is a day you do not want to miss!
What is the Mobile Learning Summit?
Come join us for a full day of virtual learning with mobile devices and innovative strategies in the world of education. Have you reached a creative stump? Let us inspire you with a wealth of mobile apps you can implement into your 2021 curriculum and beyond. The summit will focus on various approaches to address the importance of technology in the classroom, remote learning, and the millennial generation. All experience levels are welcome including PK-12 teachers, media specialists, technology specialists, and administrators.
Our theme this year is Learning Remodified! We are emphasizing apps that are remote learning-friendly. The educational landscape has changed dramatically since our first summit and we want you well-equipped for another unique school year. Session topics include Flipgrid by Ann Kozma, Digital Tools and Strategies to Support Social and Emotional Wellness by Anna Bilyeu, Nearpod with Dr. Sherri Booker, coding for all ages with Dr. Jason Harron, the Wonders of Wakelet 2.0 by Dr. Tricia Frazier, and Top 10 Tips for Teams (2021 update) by Andrea Tseng-Rioux. As you can see, we have your mobile device needs covered! For additional sessions and detailed descriptions, view the Summit Sessions link.
